The potential of blockchain technology to revolutionize various industries and positively impact African communities cannot be overstated. Despite the numerous challenges faced by individuals and institutions in Africa, the decentralized nature of blockchain technology provides an opportunity for greater reach and exposure. The Abantu Tribe recognizes this potential and is committed to providing assistance to Africans in order to leverage blockchain technology for their development.
Through our assistance, we aim to empower individuals and institutions in Africa to participate in the global economy and access opportunities that were previously inaccessible due to the lack of infrastructure and resources. We believe that blockchain technology can facilitate secure, transparent, and efficient transactions, leading to increased trust and economic growth in the region.
By leveraging the power of blockchain technology, The Abantu Tribe seeks to enable Africans to take control of their financial futures and contribute to the overall development of the continent. Our goal is to onboard as many Africans as possible onto the blockchain, unlocking their full potential and positioning them to compete effectively in the global marketplace.
Revenue Streams
Onboarding African artists
In many parts of Africa, there may be a lack of infrastructure to support the arts industry. This can include things like limited access to recording studios, galleries, or venues for performances. Without these resources, it can be difficult for artists to gain exposure or build a following. Many parts of Africa also struggle with economic instability, which can impact the arts industry. In some cases, there may be a lack of funding available to support artists, or audiences may not have the disposable income to attend performances or purchase artwork.
Therefore one of The Abantu Tribes missions is to launch a unique and innovative NFT collection, The Abantu Tribe Scrapbook Collection, that will be a separate collection to the main collection. This collection will showcase the exceptional talent of African artists. Our goal is to provide a platform for these talented individuals to monetize their art and reach a global audience. We will accomplish this by converting the artworks into one-of-a-kind NFTs that will be raffled off to the public. The Scrapbook Collection will not only bring attention to the exceptional creativity and skill of African artists, but also provide them with an opportunity to earn a fair compensation for their work. A substantial portion of the raffle and royalties from the sales of the NFTs will be given directly to the artists, allowing them to receive the recognition and financial reward they deserve. We believe that the Scrapbook Collection has the potential to make a meaningful impact in the world of art and provide a much-needed boost to the careers of African artists. Our mission is to celebrate and support their talents, and we are excited to see the impact that this collection will have on the art world.
Onboarding non-profit organizations
Non-profit organizations are very necessary in Africa, as they play a vital role in addressing various social, economic, and environmental challenges faced by many communities across the continent. Non-profit organizations in Africa are involved in various activities, such as providing education and healthcare, addressing poverty and hunger, promoting human rights and democracy, and protecting the environment.
However, many non-profit organizations in Africa face significant challenges when it comes to funding. Limited financial resources, lack of access to financing, and insufficient infrastructure and support systems make it difficult for non-profit organizations to sustain their operations and expand their impact.
Through our partnerships with African non-profit organizations we plan to create for them, their own NFT strategy and collection. For example we have a partnership with a charitable organization, The Black Mamba Anti-poaching Unit and several others, where we are going to provide them with all the necessary tools to create a collection of NFTs. The tools we will be providing are things like art, development and marketing services. In turn this will allow the charity to raise funds for their organization. The NFT technology allows them to increase their reach and allows for an easier and more community driven way for individuals to give back to a cause in need.
Onboarding the youth
Education on blockchain technology in Africa is behind other regions of the world. While there are certainly some areas of the continent where blockchain education and adoption are flourishing, many African countries are still struggling to keep up with the rapidly evolving technology.
Another issue is a lack of awareness and understanding of the potential applications of blockchain technology. Many people in Africa may not yet fully understand how blockchain can be used to create transparent, secure, and efficient systems for everything from supply chain management to voting. This lack of understanding can make it difficult for individuals and organizations to see the value of investing in blockchain education and adoption.
We want to launch an initiative to introduce extra lesson activities for African educational institutions, aimed at teaching students about the blockchain and its workings. Following discussions with several institutions, there is a great deal of interest in this program. To ensure the success of this initiative, we are currently in the process of developing a comprehensive curriculum with the help of our highly skilled blockchain expert that works for "Boosting Cardano South Africa", which is a Cardano funded operation here in Africa. Our aim is to make learning about the blockchain accessible and engaging for all, with the ultimate goal of empowering the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers in the blockchain space.
Other revenue models
Besides the above revenue models, The Abantu Tribe team has been actively developing various other revenue models, which we are not currently in a position to commit to due to legal and feasibility considerations. We have mentioned the revenue models that we are currently working on and are prepared to commit to at this time. It is worth noting that we plan to discuss the additional revenue streams in more detail in chapter 2 of our Tribepaper once we commence work on them.
Service fee
We aim to generate profit through the above revenue streams, by charging service fees for the above services. A portion of this profit will be distributed to our holders. More on this in "Earning and Staking".
